The Beginning

Through our experience in game development, creating a brand-new game is as ambitious as it is exciting. We also know that nothing in game development is set in stone – it’s an iterative and fast-changing process. These plans show what we’re aiming for right now, but they’ll change as we work with you to refine and adapt them along the way.

We’re committed to keeping you involved throughout this journey. As we hit key milestones, we’ll share exciting updates through images, videos, and insights. Your feedback will be invaluable as we navigate this creative process together.


Phase 1: The Foundation

We’re starting the game and this journey from scratch, building the game with your active participation. This means you’ll have the chance to shape the game alongside us. While we can’t implement every single idea, we’re committed to incorporating the majority’s vision, as long as it aligns with what’s feasible and achievable and is aligned with the overall game concept.

During this phase, we’ll be focusing on building a solid foundation for the game. We’ll be starting off by developing our art base and concept art. We already have a mood and direction in mind, but we’ll be refining it to make it even more polished and sharp! At the same time, we’ll be laying down the essential coding foundations for the game, so the game design will also be shaped and finalised.

This phase will also involve a lot of internal testing of the main features. Our goal is to make sure that by the end of this phase we have a game that is not only functional, but also genuinely fun and engaging – which is obviously crucial for a good game. Throughout this process, we encourage you to stay involved, interact with us and provide valuable feedback, and we will share as much as possible with you.


Milestone I: Alpha Test (June ’25)

Our first major milestone is the Alpha Test, scheduled for mid-June. This is an exciting moment for us all, as we’ll showcase the initial concept of the game that we’ve built together so far. But it’s more than just a presentation—it’s the first time you will actually put hands on the game.

During this test, you’ll have the chance to dive into the game, try out its core mechanics, and explore the features we’ve been crafting. Most importantly, this is where your feedback becomes essential. We need your honest opinions to understand how much fun the game feels at this moment. Do the mechanics work smoothly? Does the gameplay feel engaging? Are there areas where we can improve the experience?

We encourage everyone in our community to participate because the more input and feedback we receive, the better we can refine the game. Every suggestion, impression, and critique helps us move closer to creating a game that’s not only functional but also deeply enjoyable for everyone.

This milestone is all about celebrating our progress, testing what works, and collaborating to make the game even better. Your voice matters, and we can’t wait to hear your thoughts!


Phase 2: Introducing Co-op

As we move into Phase 2, we’ll focus on building upon the feedback gathered during the First Community Test. Your insights will guide us as we refine existing features and introduce exciting new ones.

One of the biggest milestones of this phase will be the integration of co-op gameplay—a key pillar of our game. Co-op is central to the game, and this phase is where we’ll dedicate our full attention to making it an engaging and seamless way for players to enjoy the game together.

In addition to co-op, we’ll conduct extensive internal testing to ensure every aspect of the game meets our standards. As always, we’ll share our progress through blogs, videos, and social media, keeping you in the loop every step of the way.

This summer, we’ll attend various exhibitions, including Gamescom, Devcom, and potentially IndieDevDays Barcelona and Polaris. While we won’t be showcasing the game at these events—hopefully someday!—we’d love to meet some of you there, chat about games, and share our enthusiasm in person.

We’re also thrilled to announce that we’ll be presenting our game at an exhibition hosted by SRH University. While the co-op mode may not yet be fully functional at this stage, attendees will get a chance to see our progress firsthand. Phase 2 is all about scaling up and refining the experience while staying true to the collaborative spirit that drives this project. Together, we’ll take the game to the next level!


Milestone II: Beta Test (February26)

Our second major milestone is the Beta Test, scheduled for February 2026. This is a pivotal moment in the development of our game and represents the most important milestone so far.

During this test, you’ll get to experience the game as it will look and feel closer to its release. The focus will be on testing the co-op gameplay, as well as the overall game experience. Your participation is crucial in helping us identify what works, what could be improved, and how to make the game even more enjoyable.

As usual your feedback will have a direct impact on the development process. This milestone is your opportunity to see what we’ve built to date, play together with friends or someone out of the community or the Team, and share your thoughts on how to refine the game further.


Phase 3: Polishing

As we enter the final stretch of development, Phase 3 is all about polishing the game, integrating the last features, and making it truly shine. This is the phase where we take all the feedback gathered throughout the journey and work it into the game, refining every detail to deliver the best possible experience.

During this stage, we’ll focus on enhancing the depth and width of the game’s current features rather than introducing entirely new ones. Our goal is to expand and refine what’s already there, ensuring every element feels rich, polished, and complete. By building on the solid foundation we’ve created, we’re pulling out all the stops to make the game as engaging and satisfying as possible for launch.

Feedback will continue to play a vital role, and we’ll be working tirelessly to polish and expand the game as much as possible. With luck and a lot of effort, we might even be able to showcase the game at some exhibitions—hopefully!!

This phase represents a concentrated effort to deliver a release we can all be proud of. It’s a sprint to the finish line, with all hands on deck to bring the game to life.


Milestone III: Release (October ’26)

Mark your calendars—well, sort of! We’re aiming to release the game somewhere around October 2026. While we can’t pinpoint the exact date just yet, this is the general timeframe we’re targeting. It’s the moment we’ll all be working toward, and when it happens, it will be a huge achievement for us and the community that helped shape it.
