Hello wonderful people from the internet!
Welcome to the eighteenth round of our weekly Progress Blog!
We’re currently in full pitch mode! This week, part of our team is heading to Games Ground Berlin, where we’ll have the opportunity to meet with publishers and present Enu directly. Preparing for this event has taken a lot of focus and coordination, but despite the busy schedule, we still managed to make solid progress on the game last week.
What is the current state of play?
In Game Design, we’ve refined the Auto Attack (basic attack) system to make it more dynamic and engaging. Instead of a single attack type, players will now have access to three distinct attack styles, each featuring three combo variations. This adds more depth and flexibility to combat. In addition, we’ve designed the first mini-boss.
We’ve also made great progress on our main character designs for both variants and now have finalized concepts in place, you can see them in the image below.

The Programming department has implemented the first new enemies and addressed several bugs to improve overall stability. In addition, work has begun on integrating the new basic attack and combo system.
What we will do this week?
Game Design
This week in Game Design, we’re focusing on creating the boss room, setting up the space and flow for our first major encounter. Alongside that, we’ll begin building and organizing our VFX and SFX list, defining which visual and sound effects will be needed to bring the world to life.
Art
In the Art department, it’s time to lock in the final art style and draw the main character as they’ll appear in-game. This marks a major milestone in establishing Enu’s visual identity. Since the shift to 2D and the evolution of our game’s vision, we’re revisiting and refining our artistic direction to better match the atmosphere and tone we now want to capture.
Programming
On the Programming side, development continues on the basic attack and combo system, refining its responsiveness and feel. Work on enemy behavior and interactions will also continue, though at a slightly slower pace this week as the programming departement heads to Games Ground Berlin to represent Enu and pitch the project.
at’s all for this week’s update! Every milestone, big or small, moves Enu closer to the experience we’ve envisioned. Thank you for following our journey and supporting us along the way. With every iteration, the world of Enu becomes clearer, richer, and closer to reality, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next!
